Eurovac Solutions

Woodworking Dust Extraction

Eurovac has an experienced team of engineers ready to design a dust collection solution that is suited to your companies needs.  We offer a complete range of both high volume and high vacuum dust collection solutions to capture particulate right at the source of any stationary equipment or hand held tool within a woodworking facility.  A dust collector with a high volume of air will be needed to capture the particulate from the source of machines such as C&C Routers, Table Saws and Planers which have vacuum take-off sizes ranging from 3” to 6”.  Where as; a high vacuum system will be needed to capture dust at the source of hand held tools such as Orbital Sanders or Routers which have smaller vacuum take-off sizes ranging from ¾” to 1-1/2”.

Industrial - Drops, Pipe & Fittings

Eurovac systems are designed for convenient use with vacuum drops hanging (2” vacuum hose attached to pipe overhead) or wall/pillar mounted (2” pipe running down the wall) close to the operators work station. If a technician is working with pneumatic tools, the vacuum drops typically get run in conjunction with the compressed air so the air and vacuum are working together. Systems will be designed with 2” tubing at the drops and graduating up to 8” (depending on system size) back at the central equipment which delivers a typical air speed of 4,500 feet per minute. Galvanized steel tube, bends and fittings are used to ensure system is grounded thus avoiding static electricity build up and potential shocks. As well, galvanized bends and fittings come standard with long radius sweeps which ensure your system is operating at its peak vacuum level.

    Cartridge Dust Collectors

Unlike many equipment manufacturers who are limited to only one or two types of dust collectors, Eurovac offers a wide variety of systems ranging from highly efficient vertical cartridges arrangement to integrated cyclonic separators when large amounts of dust are present in the air stream. The fully automated control panels ensure that minimal maintenance will be required. If no toxic fumes are generated in the process, it is possible to recycle clean air back in the facility. Depending on the nature of the dust or smoke, Eurovac will select certified high efficiency pleated filters or bags. The vessel robust steel construction may be equipped with NFPA safety features such as explosion vents or suppression devices. Our engineering staff will recommend energy conscious owners and plant managers the use of a variable frequency drive (VFD) if not all work stations are required to operate simultaneously.

    Downdraft Tables (Dry)

Eurovac’s line of Downdraft tables,Downdraft Sanding Tables & Down Draft Benches offer a “Hands Free Method of Capture at Source” of Fumes and Dust. Tables are available with working surfaces from 2 1/2’ x 2 1/2’ to 4’ x 8’, and are available with automatic self cleaning filters. Typical applications include welding smoke, metal grinding and deburring, dust collection from plastics, composite and wood materials, odor control from gluing and painting, plasma cutting, batching & weighing, soldering, as well as finishing processes (i.e. buffing and polishing). All tables comply with local and federal clean air requirements.
